AOC Community Media, Lafayette’s local cable-access channel, will begin airing performances from the 2012 Festival International de Louisiane on July 1 and will continue daily broadcasts of the concerts through July 7. In all, more than 30 performances — a few of them, notably Sonny Landreth’s blazing opening-night show, are repeats — will be broadcast on Cox channel 15 and LUS channel 3.
David Calhoun and Elizabeth “EB” Brooks are the first two employees of Lafayette Central Park Inc., the nonprofit charged with turning Lafayette Consolidated Government’s 100-acre Johnston Street Horse Farm property into a passive public park.
