Les Vues

Vermilionville continues its Les Vues Film Series tonight with curator Mandy Migues screening Tintamarre: On the Trail of the Acadians in North America. The film is a feature documentary that pays homage to the unique character of an unwavering populace: the Acadians. Tintamarre also demonstrates how the Acadian culture has endured even two hundred years after their deportation.

Tintamarre: On the Trail of the Acadians in North America screens on Monday, July 29, starting at 6:30 p.m., at Vermilionville, located at 300 Fisher Road. Admission to Les Vues Film Series is free, though a suggested $5 donation will be put towards further screening and curating costs. For more information visit Vermilionville.com.
