Wanna paint like Elemore Morgan Jr.? Here’s your chance.

In anticipation of the September Second Saturday ArtWalk next weekend, which for the last few years has been observed in memory of the late-great landscape painter and longtime art prof at UL Lafayette who died five years ago, art supplies will be available at the Horse Farm this Saturday, Sept. 7, for guests to try their hands at landscape painting in the stylistic tradition of Morgan.

Paper, water color, crayons, oil pastels and other supplies will be available at the event Saturday, which commences at 8 a.m. Works created will be displayed during ArtWalk on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the AcA Art House where guests will again be invited to make Morgan-inspired art.
