The first season of the HBO series Treme, set in post-Katrina New Orleans, has been nominated for two Emmys.
Treme was nominated in two categories: “Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series,” and “Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics.”
In the directing category, the show’s pilot, “Do You Know What It Means,” was given the nod. “This City,” which was composed by singer songwriter Steve Earle, was recognized in the music competition.
