Lafayette psych-garage rockers BirdCity primed the hype machine during the Sept. 11 ArtWalk, playing a gig at Cite des Arts and debuting the video for their song “Black Eyes.”
“Black Eyes” is a tune off of BirdCity’s debut album, loosely scheduled to be released sometime between now and early 2011.
David Calhoun and Elizabeth “EB” Brooks are the first two employees of Lafayette Central Park Inc., the nonprofit charged with turning Lafayette Consolidated Government’s 100-acre Johnston Street Horse Farm property into a passive public park.
