Festival International de Louisiane, an annual celebration of music, art and cuisine, released its Saturday night lineup Wednesday, and it's yet another day of quality music that makes the 26th annual event a premiere showcase.

Expect the full lineup to be released Friday, Feb. 10, here.

The jaw-dropping, if not name dropping, Saturday lineup includes: Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 (Nigeria-/African/World), Texas Tornados w/ Flaco Jimenez, Augie Meyers & Shawn Sahm (Texas-Tex Mex), Lamajamal (Middle East/ U.S.- Gypsy Surf, Lindigo (Reunion Island-Maloya-Sega), and the Slavic Soul Party! (Balkans/U.S.-Slavic Brass).

The day begins with the Courir du Festival 5K Run, starting at Scène Chevron Héritage. The annual Festival International Promenade is set for 4 p.m., from Super Chevy Scene des Jeunes to Jefferson to Garfield.

At various times Thursday-Sunday, Cirque de la Rue, street performers from around the world, can be found performing on Jefferson Street between Vermilion and Garfield streets.

And, of course, downtown galleries will be open throughout the festival.
