Rising pop singer Rozzi Crane is celebrating her birthday weekend in a big way — taking the stage at her first major music festival with the rock band Maroon 5 for a duet with lead singer Adam Levine.

Among the stages where jazz, Cajun, blues and zydeco is spotlighted are Native American acts with singing, chanting and drumming and dancers donned in colorful feathers and fringe.

The Stage Monkeys of Lafayette present Coco's Diner, an improv theater event, tonight at the Saint Street Inn.

The Les Vues Cultural Film series returns tonight with a screening of the 1981 cultural gem Southern Comfort.
