Midsouth Bank Chief Operating Officer Jerry Reaux, an IND friend and longtime supporter of the arts in Acadiana, now has an indelible presence in the Acadiana Center for the Arts in the form of its newest gallery name — Vault: A Reaux Family Project.

Acting Up in Acadiana is teaming up with Lafayette Animal Aid for the 2nd Annual Red Carpet Runway, a benefit fashion show, held Wednesday night at 6 p.m., at The Madison in Broussard. Red Carpet Runway



For June, the Cane Fire Film Series is screening Far Out Isn’t Enough: The Tomi Ungerer Story, detailing the surreal life of one of America’s most subversive artists. 

Vermilionville’s Les Vues Film Series returns for another offering this month with its screening of the Emmy-winning documentary All Over But To Cry.Les Vues

Events taking place this weekend include the annual Acadian Orchid Society’s Annual Show, a Fun Day in Girard Park and a theatre performance for young playwrights by young playwrights.
