David Simon and Eric Overmyer, co-creators of HBO’s The Wire and now the widely anticipated new series, Treme, set in post-Katrina New Orleans, are the scheduled guests on NPR’s Fresh Air today. Fresh Air airs on KRVS, 88.7, in Lafayette, at 6 p.m.
David Calhoun and Elizabeth “EB” Brooks are the first two employees of Lafayette Central Park Inc., the nonprofit charged with turning Lafayette Consolidated Government’s 100-acre Johnston Street Horse Farm property into a passive public park. Calhoun was named executive director, and Brooks is director of planning and design.
