Festival International announces artwork

"Tonight marks the countdown of 90 days until Festival," said Kim Neustrom, the president of Festival International's board's executive committee who functioned as the night's MC and announced that the artwork that was chosen for the 2012 poster.

As of Thursday night pins and posters are available for purchase.  

Vergie Banks, Megan Barra and Michelle Fontenot were the three artists who collaborated with the concept and design. 

Pins, posters and apparel can be found online and go to keeping Festival free. The items will also be for sale during festival and during several fundraising events preceding the April date.

Viva la Waffle, Bon Repas and Sophi P. Cakes were among the eateries generously donating food and time last night. Vagabond Swing performed for a few hours and had dancers weaving through the crowd.
