The Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations will host a town hall meeting tomorrow for nonprofit organizations. The meeting will provide local nonprofits the chance to share their concerns, discuss ways to collaborate and share resources, and to learn about LANO’s advocacy agenda for the upcoming regular legislative session. Ben Berthelot, assistant to Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel, will attend the town tall meeting, which will be held at the Woman’s Foundation, 4630 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. For more information, visit www.lano.org.
There will soon be a whole lot of shakin’ going on at Benny’s Sportshack Supplement Depot, a new concept by Opelousas native Benny Nele. Located at 2002 Johnston St., the supplement shop, smoothie bar and café, featuring hot off the press paninis and wraps, plans to open in late May.
