The Internal Revenue Service says $233,465 in tax refunds and economic stimulus payments are owed to nearly 300 Lafayette Parish residents. Seventy-six residents are owed an average of $838, and 268 taxpayers have an average check of $633 coming to them courtesy of the economic stimulus package.
