LSU is hoping to make its final game in Alex Box
stadium a memorable one, as the team vies to make its first trip back to the
college world series in four years. Tonight’s game against UC-Irvine will be
the last one played in the 70-year old stadium, which is being retired after
this season. Thus far, the series has lived up to the grand finale billing. UC-Irvine ended LSU’s SEC record 23-game winning streak in the first game, helped
in part by a controversial call on a hidden ball play that ended a sixth inning
rally. Yesterday, LSU came back from three runs down in the ninth inning to
force a third and final game tonight. The action starts at 6 p.m. and will be
broadcast on ESPN2.

Vincent Pierre and Terry Landry, is the result of the propaganda spread by one unidentified local media outlet and an unnamed former state Representative, but nothing to do with the original legislation's lack of checks, balances or details.
