Pianist/blues singer Marcia Ball, who was set to close out this year's Rhythms on the River, has been rescheduled for June 19 due to inclement weather. River Ranch's live outdoor concert series, held on Thursdays each spring in its Town Square, runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The concert is free, and parking is available in the Onebane building parking tower on Camellia Boulevard.

There will soon be a whole lot of shakin’ going on at Benny’s Sportshack Supplement Depot, a new concept by Opelousas native Benny Nele. Located at 2002 Johnston St., the supplement shop, smoothie bar and café, featuring hot off the press paninis and wraps, plans to open in late May.
