The exhibit, "Women Taking the Lead to Save Our Planet: Art Goes Green," comprises artwork in various media, from traditional painting to pieces incorporating recycled or renewable materials, according to Debbie Norling, the event’s organizer.
An opening reception will be held this evening from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday at the center, located at 700 Cajundome Blvd. Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For details, call 266-8500.
