Melanie Teng and Steven Walczak, marketing students at UL Lafayette, placed in the semi-finals last week during the Regional Sales Competition at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, making the pair eligible to compete in the National Sales Competition next month in Atlanta. Teng and Walczak are officers in Pi Sigma Epsilon, a professional sales marketing and sales management fraternity. The students will also compete in PSE’s regional sales competition later this year in New Orleans.
David Calhoun and Elizabeth “EB” Brooks are the first two employees of Lafayette Central Park Inc., the nonprofit charged with turning Lafayette Consolidated Government’s 100-acre Johnston Street Horse Farm property into a passive public park.
