This is an example of Jindal talking out of both sides of his mouth...forgetting that other people can actually manage to hear both! Mighty, mighty funny...he's got all his supporters in line with ALEC, the Heritage Foundation, etc. pushing his bills to wreck public education...blaming it's failure squarely on the shoulders of teachers (who they paint as self-serving) and their unions. Hmmm...what's WRONG with that picture...in light of who got this bill thru and signed it into law, when he himself is well-educated enough to know much better. Jindal is being so hypocritical, IMHO....or else he think's we're all stupid and illiterate and cannot read or discern just what is REALLY going on here. If Louisiana's education system needs overhauling...it's thanks to bills like these and the curriculum they come up with in part. Funny...there is a bullying bill in this session also. Wow!!! Gonna pass a bill to stop bullying (I think that's a good thing)...but the example the Governor gives in dealing with those children's teachers...is one of pointing them out as the blame for all, then bullying the folks in this state to go along with him...or else. There's another mixed message from Louisiana's 'leader'. - Teri Welch
