I have taken the time to read through each applicants resume in the interest of stating my true opinion. After viewing the list of applicants I had a knee jerk reaction. I stand by this opinion even more so now.

Todd Mouton's experience and reputation are miles above every other other applicant. There are many people within our. Community that will likely have the same opinion. He has worked diligently to share and export local arts beyond music, as well as bring in musicians from many areas of the world. These musicians often return to Cajun country due to their own exposure to local culture through Todd's hospitality which includes locally owned restaurants and night clubs.

I had only been aware of a handfull of Todd's accomplishments. After reading through his many years of experience which included exporting music in Boston ( while he was an excelling student at Boston College ) I have developed an even stronger opinion in his favor.

He has an extensive history showing hard work, determination, and the ability to successfully multitask successful efforts. I certainly hope that others will recognize his long lived successes and passion for what this community has to offer.

There isn't an ounce of doubt within me. Todd Mouton is above and beyond the other applicants listed above. If he isn't chosen it will be sad mark for our community.

I will keep my fingers crossed. - Jeanne

I just hope they have not picked who they want already. Because that is what usually happens here. They interview just to make it look legit. But, maybe this time they will actually pick the most qualified and not the most politically connected. To much is at stake to pick another unqualified leader. Remember the Lite choice? It was a done deal before the interview process began. Now everyone realizes just because you are politically connected, does not mean you are qualified for the job!! Let's be fair this time. - Michael A. Moss
