It would be better named St Martin Pariah. I once told a friend who had just opened a restaurant in St. Martinville that they should build a fence around the town with only one gate in an out. Above the gate would be a sign reading: Asylum. He later told me he thought I was mean when I said it but after six months in business he knew exactly what I meant.
