			<description>The tax payers of Youngsville and Broussard both voted tax increases on the sales tax in order to have sports complexes.  Perhaps the city could withdraw support of facilities in those townships?  

While I agree it doesn't seem like we have much of a consolidated government I think the article is a wee bit slanted in that Youngsville and Broussard are doing what the article claims they are not.

I would much prefer to have one pot for the entire Parish and have true consolidation but you and I know that isn't going to happen anytime soon.  

Boudreaux has done an amazing job with a shrinking budget and a growing population.  He deserves better. - John Haslam</description>
