I think much of the reluctance of women to come out and report these things is because they fear being made to look 'wrong', or as if they 'asked for it'...coupled in some cases here with him being kin to them. If...women do not garner the courage to step forward and report such abuse...look what happens, it only gets worse and happens more and more! We must support women when they come forward to report the likes of these stories...and quit blaming them. We must also find ways to protect these brave women from any further assaults from their assailant...while he awaits trial. Please, please...man or woman...let's learn from these things and support women when they come forward.
