The bulk of these "debts" are intergovernmental loans between the state and local governments dating back, in some cases, 10 to 15 years. Jindal has been in office--though it seems to be much/much longer--for 5 years. Where have these debts been? Hiding under the state capital?/lost in a computer glitch? Why, "Mr. Supposedly So Intelligent Jindal", has this issue not been addressed until the latter 4th quarter of the fifth year of Jindal's administration? Why? Because it is too easy to fire state employees/privatize state operations/basically, because it is easier for Jindal to take the "low road" of administration and ruin the careers of thousands of employees and/or reduce or terminate health services provided untold thousands of needed citizens. I've said this before/I'll say it again/I'll be saying this-provided I'm still alive-30 years from now, if "Mr. So Intelligent Jindal" was employed as the chief executive of a corporation/company he would have been terminated years ago...literally years ago and the company would either be in receivership or Chapter 11, i.e, protection against creditors.
