Or so they thought. But in time all must change, all must come to meet its end. Eternity is but a dream, with nary a chance of any moment relived. We shall all be judged, the believers and the non believers. Akin the second hand on the clock a passage not noticed by any one, just you and I. Now the time has come for it all to end. As each is called by name, I wait my mind racing, filled with fearful thoughts. And that one, the smug one who believes he has eluded fate. He screams, I'll not accept the date. But as for me, too late, I will not teach these fools. The dolts, those clueless few. It is not for me to teach them, nor for I to mold their thoughts, my tenure does not quite merit, I also missed my cue.
