These new boxes do not need the "HD BOX" from Cox, it only needs a MULTI STREAM VIDEO CARD that you can get from Cox. Now granted in December when we did this Cox had to ORDER the cards (looks like a credit card that slided into the TIVO BOX) - but the TIVO box handles the HD Signal and the card just authenticates that you are "permitted" to get it. I do think Cox is charging about $4 a month for the "CARD" - but this solved the issue for us. The card once ordered took a week to come in.
