			<title>A way around COX</title>
			<link>http://www.theind.com/home/2193#comment-11</link>
			<description>Greetings,

One quick way around this (as we experienced the same thing) is to go with the new TIVO HD Box. These new boxes do not need the &quot;HD BOX&quot; from Cox, it only needs a MULTI STREAM VIDEO CARD that you can get from Cox. Now granted in December when we did this Cox had to ORDER the cards (looks like a credit card that slided into the TIVO BOX) - but the TIVO box handles the HD Signal and the card just authenticates that you are &quot;permitted&quot; to get it.

I do think Cox is charging about $4 a month for the &quot;CARD&quot; - but this solved the issue for us. The card once ordered took a week to come in.

Besides, TIVO ROCKS... ;) - Stephen Handwerk</description>
