I am so glad to read your column every morning. I look forward to it every day as an LSU and football, addict. I live in St Louis, it is not a college football town; which sucks. Can u imagine living in a place like this? All LSU fans should read and contribute to Dandy Don, we are very fortunate to have this timely information each and every day, regarding our beloved Tigers. - Dandy Don Long Thank You

I have traveled around the world and never left LSU. I remember taking helicopters up on Saturday night in Vietnam to turn on the high freq radio so we could try to pick up WLS in NO to listen to the games. Now I live in San Antonio. I still visit BR to visit family and friends and to go to an occassional game. We seldom make Lafayette before noon, but if I can, I promise to find CC's. Dandy Don's is my single waking moment every single day. It would be great to meet the legend in person. - Martin Smith

Hey DANDY DON, did you ever meet the best QB to me, of them all, who first made your name DANDY DON so very WELL KNOWN??? He also became a movie star for a while, "BANGO." I have to look at DANDYPAGE of LSU and Lafayette, each MORNING! I have often thought about coming to one of your FRIDAY meetings, but never have. My son lives not far from you. I may get there yet, if I do not die first, I and TALL PAUL, are about the same age, both of us are eighty five. If one day you see an old gray head hobble in, that will probably be me, by the way just where is CC's? If you would give the location, and draw a little map on your web and leave it there, it just might pull in a few new people off I-10, what say??? God Bless and Maranatha!!! johnmulliniks@bellsouth.net "The old football SCOUT!" I am also looking for people who would like to earn a extra six figure income, in their spare time...GEAUX BENGALS!!! STILL RECRUITING"!!! MARANATHA!!! - John Mulliniks, Doctor of things to come!

I'm one of "Dandy Don's Decibels" . West of the Sabine River we TeXas Tigers rely on Don's plain common sence and down to earth opinions. In Don we trust. - C.D. @ Austin TeXas

Was directed here by the new Dandy Don website. Great article! I am an LSU fan (attended LSU in early '70s), who has been displaced many times but now live in Atlanta, i.e. big SEC country! Don's website help keep me connected and you have got to appreciate the tremendous amount of time he puts in. I was totally unaware of his past which, which based on this article, makes me now more appreciative of his body of work. Would love to be able to join the CC's Coffee shop crowd one day!
A couple of years ago my brother told me about Dandy Don & I have been hooked ever since. Born & raised in Slidell, but God has me in Southern Maryland. Never attended LSU, but have always been a Tiger Fan. At the church I attend, we have our own SEC rivalry going. God just has us scattered all over. A couple Sundays ago there was ared truck with a big A, then one with a T, & then me with my LSU Tiger. Passed a car yesterday with an LSU license plate. Anyway enjoyed the article about Don. A great represenrative for the state & LSU. Pray for his wife & for the family. GEAUX TIGERS. - Paulette Church

Great article and love the website look. A little over a year ago I was transferred to Houston for work. The local paper absolutely sucks. If it's not about sports in Texas then just forget it. I can now fully appreciate how good the advocate is but much more importantly is your website. I've been reading it daily for awhile but it's now to get up every day and have that down home flavor. Your personal touch brings it all to life for me. I love your passion for LSU and share it also. Thank you for all your hard work and please keep it going. Like the new photo also and please accept my thoughts and prayers for you and your wife.
