Boustany did the right thing voting against the bailout.  It was a lousy piece of legislation that didn't even address the issues that caused the problems to begin with.
What's more, give Henry Paulson $700 billion to spend on his friends?  He is from Wall Street and will probably be back there in 5 months.
While I agree the issues need to be resolved, the rush to address them without deliberation will only make it worse it the end.
Besides, I have a hard time accepting the nationalization of their debt.
Shame on everyone who was involved, regardless of party affiliation.

			<description>Good for Boustany.  Voting down the bailout is a slap in the face to the White House and the Democratic Leadership--God knows they need it.  Failure to pass this bill is not the end of the world, it is a reaction by the sober citizens to those drunk on debt.  - Marquis</description>
