			<description>This is great news.  Turning the land into a public park connected to other public space would be a major progressive step forward for Lafayette.  I hope the landscape design will include the use of native trees, shrubs and perennials for plantings.  We should press the designers for this, as it creates wildlife habitat and allows people to reconnect with our natural heritage.
