May I suggest that both dog stands stand side by side, and let the best dog rule the street. Sort of like Coke v Pepsi, McDonald's v. Burger King, The Independent v. The Times of Acadiana. The dog who limps away can ask for a bailout from Obama. - LafayetteGrapevine

That's a keen idea, anonymous. Or, I could just head over to the liposuction clinic and get an infusion directly into my abdomen, saving all the time and trouble of organizing a contest. - Walter Pierce

I propose a hot dog eating contest between The Independent and The Times of Acadiana on the 4th of July. The Independent can have Big Bad Walter Pierce eat the grateful Dawg's dogs and The Times can pick their representative eat the dogs from Joy's (upon preapproval from the California publicist). That way everyone sells hot dogs.

Yeah
Problem solved!!!! - anonymous
