Too many "fat cat" salaries and retirements are involved. Politicians are scared witless of education, education unions and educators! This state is absolutely wasting money with too many institutions. And fear not, any discourse during this past budget session will be smoothed over in record time. The "fellas" mentioned will be kissing each others butts long before they need one another again. Bedfellows type thing.... Get your facts straight. http://www.legis.state.la.us/billdata/streamdocument.asp?did=665970 The vote tally was 57-43 in favor of rejecting the Senate's fiscally irresponsible amendment. Higher Ed is way over-bloated in this state, and it's about time some politicians take a stand and demand that Higher Ed restructure to a more efficient program.
