I'd love to see Higher Ed steamlined and more efficient with taxpayer and student tuition dollars. There has been so much waste and duplication without any concern to save whatever money possible. Fat cat paychecksm, fat cat retirements and let's not forget: political-pay-back positions! That's what has taken priority over the best interest of the students and tax payers. I'd be a higher ed supporter again if I felt they were back on the right track again. Then I might even consider sending my kids to a local university.....
