The city has every reason to be proud. I was never so impressed with Breaux Bridge than when it told big developers "We don't need you... We like our city just the way it is." What a bold statement that was! And true! You can't impress Breaux Bridge with flash and you won't impress them by flashing $$$$ around either. We've taken our children, and visitors from other countries, to Breaux Bridge to enjoy the friendly small town atmosphere.
