Students in all areas of this parish deserve to be served and that is the responsibility of the school board. If Ms. Lewis takes on this program with the attitude and assumption that the citizens of this community have ignored or intentionally disregarded a certain sector of the community, she will have trouble getting the support I assume she wants. Perhaps she should rethink how she wants to present this program to the community.
