I believe the reference to Zeus was to illustrate how this garbage of a man stole money from his clients to finance his participation in the Mardi Gras Krewe. That's how I took it. But I've always known the "exclusivity" of a lot of those krewes, esp. the old ones, hide a lot of dirty laundry. I'm sorry that a lot of good people on that particular krewe have this stain on their reputation. Having seen and heard some really snotty remarks and haughty attitudes of some krewe members, maybe a little humble pie won't hurt so badly. - Morrow

As a friend of the Krewe of Zeus, I will make your readers aware of the fact that, although Mr. Chaucer was origianlly slated to be the 2010 King of Zeus, he was replaced some time ago by the krewe when this whole affair came to light. I think it is unfair to associate his name with the krewe in any manner. Zeus was as much a victim of Mr. Chaucer's scheme as any of his investors. - David Mulnick
