Po Bet Thad, you poor dumb couillion the only idea about the oil and gas industry you can even dare to guess at, is the price of gas at the pump.
You have not one clue, on the tax cost to the American public for each gallon of gas that leaves the pump.
We have here in the united states, more gas reserves than than the whole land mass of the MIDDLE EAST.
Today, if the US government would allow exploration in the areas with proven reserves here in America, we would not be sucking hind teat in the MIDDLE EAST, and having our children die fighting for the oil concessions for our allies, and the British Petroleum Oil Company....You suck on this tidbit of knowledge ! - NORTHSIDIAN SHOTGUN

Oh, the poor wittle oil and gas industry. I thought these guys were supposed to be the titans of industry, forging ahead without or without the help of government. The oil and gas industry thrived by sucking off the public teat under Bush, now it's time to be big boys and get the job done with or without the government's help. How about Don Briggs and his cronies stop blaming "Washington" and start innovating and making profit on their own steam, rather than relying on public subsidies and sycophantic conservative politicians. - Thad

Ooh,its taking place all over the country,"but not in lafayette, ( how ignorant a statement voiced here a year ago by a few well-wishers ) it was a matter of time before the economy faltered in our area, sad to say it has arrived with retail sales down, and tax coffers emptying quicker than incoming tax receipts......
the most complete dumbass could have seen this coming, if they would have paused at the feed trough...........long enough to look around at the rest of the country........but like cochons they were gorging n gruntin for all they could scarf down........... - NORTHSIDIAN SHOTGUN
