			<description>What I find really funny is that so many conservatives around here embrace the LUS fiber solution.

   Because in theory LUS is &quot;community owned&quot; which is a nice way of saying &quot;socialism&quot; you know that word that makes republicans tremble, because it's a big word and they have problems with those, but Rush limbaugh has used it in a derogatory manner so it must be bad.

Yet these conservatives witness FIRST HAND what happens when you take greedy stockholders out of the equation.  Gee could it be?  Lower prices, better service, innovation?  How can this be true? Could it be that a co-op is better than a monopoly?  You won't find anyone in this town who believes it. - LUS is Communist.. or at least Socialist!</description>
