Posted something like this earlier, but it hasn't appeared. Sorry if it shows up later and you have to read me twice. The cowards responsible for printing and distributing those signs should come out from behind the bushes and engage in straightforward public dialogue. Their message -- that LPSB hates black children -- is pointlessly inflammatory and a lie, designed to outrage and frighten. Shame on them! And shame on Greg Davis for not forcefully denouncing those involved. Being "disappointed that we are having this kind of reaction" is not enough, and sidesteps the point. You want to be a leader, Mr. Davis? Step up and speak out against those who use lies and fear to influence opinion. - Not Amused

It would be one thing to speculate that racism may be a factor in LPSB's consideration of changing N.P. Moss to a technical high school. It's another thing entirely to suggest that LPSB "hates black children." Lafayette Parish Public Education Stakeholders Council What the hell is that, are you people just making s*** up now? As the president of the Lafayette Parish Entertainment Commission I'd like to point out that we have unanimously decided that Greg Davis is unfit to serve in any capacity at the CajunDome. My other Organization "One White Man of Greater Lafayette" also believes that it is wrong for people to place the signs in their yard that say "Black people are bigots" but you know, it is just an indication of how sick and tired people are of blacks playing the race card all the time.
