The other publications seem to ignore it as well as the local TV stations. Considering that there are multi-million dollar losses in the Lafayette area, one would think the press here would be more interested! Maybe it is simply that the powers that be want this story to go away for whatever reasons! By the way "really" it is all over the national media and the correct spelling for the other ponzi guy is Madoff. Further this is the largest and most complicated ponzi scheme in history, with over 28,000 victims. After reading your comment, I suspect you are the one with personal connections to the story.
