You should probably be happy that an artist in your area is receiving such amazing support for her work. Do you dislike Lynda personally? I'd separate that from the work if I were you. I see a lot of work by other artists that is inaccessible, boring, or downright ugly - I really have no problem passing judgment. But I have a hard time imagining how anyone (even if you don't find it meaningful) could not at least find Lynda's work beautiful. Because it is beautiful - and full of meaning, too. Hell, don't take it from me. Read her resume. It too is quite impressive.
