It is totally faulty logic for you to propose that a city voter would represent the interests of both the city and the parish. For you to post that once in one place is bad enough, but to poste something so completely irrational in two different places at two different times is horrendous! :) Any resident of Louisiana is also a resident of the US, so the US Senate would be adequately represented by nothing but LA residents because LA residents would also represent the nation's interest--doesn't sound right, does it. Maybe we could say the same for the UN--want to have all North American UN Rep's be from Canada, because they would adequately represent the interests of NOrth America? Canada is in North America so the US and Mexico don't need to send ambassadors. Therefore they will represent both the City and the Parishes interest. So the Parish is represented by all 9 appointments and the City is represented by only 5. What constitutes a minority? Asian American, African American, Cajun American, etc? It must be opened to any and all candidates who choose to apply and minority selections may be made from all applicants including submissions made prior to this present reopening. This is discrimination in the broadest sense. This process is open to all.
