I can't wait to see the Diamond Jubilee; where all of the inhabitants from the gulf come rushing up to the shore to escape the black death unleashed on the gulf by our honorable petroleum industry!

- Wait, Really, It's the Diamond Jubilee? ROFL @ The Irony.

I'm sorry but could someone explain why we should "honor" the petroleum industry?

Perhaps we could Honor the petroleum industry for their total corruption of the MMS,
which led to lax oversight,
which led to the situation we are in now.

Yes! THANK YOU PETROLEUM INDUSTRY!!!

     DRILL BABY DRILL!!!

it's pretty shocking to me that we would still be celebrating this festival after the ABSOLUTE devastation that BP has caused to our beautiful marshlands, and we've only begin to see the destruction. I would like to think that our beautiful state and all of it's citizens would be in an uproar and so disgusted with oil industry that we would proudly stop celebrating and FINALLY realize that water and oil OBVIOUSLY do not go hand in hand. I think by treading forward with this celebration it makes the citizens of our beautiful state look incredibly ignorant and like we don't care about our coast line. THIS ANGERS AND SADDENS ME GREATLY! - EXTREMELY DISGUSTED!
