All I can say is don't come to me for higher taxes. I absolutely believe this was the plan better than 15 yrs ago. It is not a priority of the school board to maintain schools to the point they don't have to be replaced. It is PRACTICE and procedure for the school board to replace schools instead of adding wings, doing regular "up keep" construction in order to keep existing buildings. It is a constant irritation and disappointment. And old buildings can be kept, maintained and used for many, many years. So the school system can do what they want, just don't come to me for tax dollars. I STILL SAY MILLIONS COULD BE SAVED BY EXTENDING OPENING OF SCHOOL UNTIL THE BEGINNIG OF SEPTEMBER. No tax increases, no lay offs, NO CLASSROOM SIZE CHANGES. Of course, maybe teacher inservice training will have to be done on their own time, which I would faint if I heard a teacher agree to that. NO NEW TAXES, NO TAX INCREASES. DO IT ON WHAT YOU COLLECT ALREADY. - Morrow
