I have lived in Texas for the last 8 years, but planned on making the trip home for this years festival--to show support in light of the oil spill and it's effects on the region. However, after this invitation was extended to OUR President, many Morgan City locals have voiced their disapproval to the Lt. Gov.'s invitation and do not want President Obama to visit the festival. Nevermind the publicity it would bring to the state's oldest festival and the thousands of dollars it could pump into the city's economy. These people are clueless!
