Aaaahh, Ragin, you're equivocating again. Encouraging incremental improvement toward reducing emissions is not tantamount to government controlling all aspects of the economy. Besides, that second quote about government controlling the economy is the usual meaningless talking point displayed by pols wanting to hitch onto anti-Obama sentiment.

There's nothing wrong with government providing tax breaks and other incentives for pressing issues like energy. Reducing emissions and moving away from fossil fuels is probably the most important issue of our time. Government has a place in issues of such magnitude, where long term measures are needed over the whole of the nation.

The world is not black and white. Issues are more complex than sound-bite politicians would have you believe. - JP

AAAaaaahhhh!!!!! Another damn hypocrite!

" I will work to provide legislation that establishes performance based objectives that encourage incremental and continuous improvement towards reducing emissions" Kristian Magar's website.

" Unfortunately, we have been falsely led to believe that it is the role of the federal government to control all aspects of the economy. "

So Magar says openly on his website that it is wrong for the government to contol the economy. Then he says that he'll make a law that incentivizes companies to blah, blah, blah, blah.

It's wrong...unless it's for a cause that Magar suppports.....
