			<description>Not, no--but HELL no!  The enlightened leaders of the CITY wanted consolidation in the first place.  Less than half of voters in the Parish wanted this, and a little more than half of voters in the city did want it.  

Now that we all have the version of government that a majority of city voters wanted, city politicians want to change it because they don't like the demographic shift?     - ragin_cajun</description>
