In Louisiana Big Oil has always ruled. Before them it was Big Lumber. Just take a ride over the basin and see the dead cypress trees. This is the result of clear cutting. But guess what? Nobody complained because the jobs paid well. This state has been raped by Corporations & Crooked politicians for years.
