Tongueincheek --

You're exaggerating, I see that. Problem is, government is taking our tax dollars, budget is higher every year, and this is all happening anyway--bad roads, prisoners let out, universities and public schools are worse than home schooling, you think DMV isn't a long wait in line now? There's no state oversite of anything business does. the state is gonna fail next year. and the biracial democratic president has already discredited himself.

You're trying to exaggerate, and you've really only described reality. It's so bad, you can't exaggerate it. - ragin_cajun

I'm sure with lower taxes those businesses will be able to afford to build private roads and bridges and hire private security. The state just needs to let all those prison guards go and get people out of state prisons and let them return to society. We don't need state police. Just give everyone their own assault rifle. We don't need universities or public schools, they will just go work in other states anyway. We don't need the state to take care of roads or bridges. We don't need computerized services and all these DMV offices. People can just drive to Baton Rouge and stand in line for a couple of days if they need their drivers license renewed. Businesses wouldn't sell up poison medicine or put mercury in our food. They will prevent e-coli contamination and make sure anything caught in the gulf is safe to eat. We need to cut taxes NOW and delay cutting out any spending until the last possible moment, pushing it into the next fiscal year if possible. We need to make the state fail and figure out how to blame it on the federal government in order to discredit the biracial democratic president.

this state has been spending like there's no tomorrow for many years. state payroll is huge! time to tighten the belts and cut some of the duplication. and where is our illustrious gov in all this, playing in other people's yards, picking pockets of donors for other states, other candidates... - BoFred

It is time to raise those taxes on those bad businesses. No one wants to see a government employee lose their job. - French Fry Enthusiast
