Awesome story. What a fighter! I know a man named Bob Eskew from Everett, WA who is currently on his 83rd chemotherapy treatment. I believe god has a reason to keep Mr. Eskew and Mr. Hoon on this earth. :)

Fortunately, there are many patients currently being treated at MD Anderson with Stage IV colorectal cancer that have had this same type of success that David has had. David, who has personally met two of these patients, has a wonderful physician, Dr. Cathy Eng. She has and is currently treating patients that have had even further success than Mr. Hoon. He is keenly aware that 54 treatments is not a world record, but definitely a lucky man who has had wonderful success with his first line chemo treatments! - Lisa Mallia

Just a reminder, that if you're over 50, get that colonoscopy! This is a cancer than can usually be cured if caught early!

I had the pleasure of meeting David over the Thanksgiving holiday. David is an amazing person. He has a great kindness about him, I do believe he deeply cares about other people.

David, it was an honor to meet you and I hope to see you soon. I ask that God continue to bless you and heal you! - Nathan Harbert
