Perry's main argument seems to be that he's been a career politician longer than the other guy. Call me crazy, but I think Baton Rouge needs fewer career politicians and more guys like Granger who know how to create jobs,

Listen here Silverfart, nothing is wrong with career politicians. Long as they are fighting for the little guy, guys like me and you. - SENSIBLE POLITICS

Yes, that is true about Faux News. But, until the public writ large demand real news from Faux News by boycotting its sponsers, people like Glen Beck and Shawn Hannity will keep on trying to incite riots and deaths in the streets of our country. - SENSIBLE POLITICS

I concur with the way Fox News is described. If you look at Fox&Friends in the morning you know what the republican talking points will be for that day.

All they do is make up news and make up facts. These people are not news gathers. Shep Smith is the only one on that whole station who gives any meaningful news. - chickenchit

"ECONOMIC PATRIOTISM" -- oh my God that's a frightening combination of words.

It wouldn't be frightening to you if you would stop getting your information from the FOX FAKE NEWS MODELS. I further recommend that you stop attending the GLEN BECK UNIVERSITY OF PARANOID DELUSIONAL THINKING.

I'm sure you enjoyed the SARAH PALIN SHRIEKING FREAK SHOW LAST NIGHT at Reagan's ranch. That IMBECIL, PALIN should quit making an ass of herself and just go on an SHOW HER A%& IN PLAYBOY MAGAZINE.

At least then people would take her serious. - LAFAYETTE NATIVE RESIDING IN CA

The Granger campaign has a poll that says they're leading?! amazing! How is this not topping the 6 5, 6, and 10 o'clock news?! This just in: the Steelers and Packers say they're gonna win the superbowl.
Did you actually see this poll before reporting "Granger leads race?" - Wait?!

Jonathan Perry is a former prosecutor and now has a private law practice. His record is solid in keeping violent criminals in prison, fighting back one particular parole bill in House Criminal Justice committee two years ago that would have provided parole for even some convicted of the 4 Capital Crimes.

If you want someone with a proven record of fiscal conservatism, even going against the Governor from his own party on the final irresponsible budget last year, Jonathan Perry is your candidate. Voting records do not lie, and he has a record of looking out for taxpayers' wallets.

In fact, if he were to win this seat, Perry, judging by his record vs. other current State Senators, would automatically be the best fiscal conservative in that part of the legislature. - RCajunrunner

Raising taxes is a myth created by the usual suspects, ie,mcconnel, jindal, vitter, boehner, palin, etal. Fact is that Obama has lowered taxes for common middle class americans. He's done that since day 1 of his administration.

Asking the richest americans of which none of you are,is not raising your taxes. To ask these rich folks for a little ECONOMIC PATRIOTISM is the right thing for america.

These so-call conserva-dems are CLOWNS who panders to imbicils like you who talks about not raising taxes. - LAFAYETTE NATIVE RESIDING IN CA

Well, if voting AGAINST Taxes, Legislative Pay Raises, and Budgets that got us into our current budget crisis and FOR Pro-Business, Pro-Life, and Pro-Family issues makes him a career politician...then I am officially supporting the career politician.

Perry and Granger have both been in office for the same amount of time...one term. And Perry's the only one who never voted for raising taxes.

That's enough for me. - ToddG

Yeah I would rather vote for someone like Perry who has a proven track record of not raising taxes. And anyway politicians don't create jobs the private sector does. Also I'm tired of all the corrupt democrats it is time for a change. - Perry Supporter
