Chief of Police Carriere of the Youngsville Police Dept. who was issued and OWI by the LA State Police last month? Asst. Chief Carriere is on record, when asked by the State Trooper if he'd been drinking, the Asst. Chief Carriere replied, "Not enough." He then refused to take sobriety tests and was arrested by the trooper. Not only that, but the Asst. Chief Carriere was driving his big, black, fully loaded, and paid for by the taxpapers Youngsville Police Dept. SUV at the time of his arrest. By the way, Asst. Chief Carriere is still on patrol in his dept. issued SUV and driving on duty with his ticket stub. Lets see if Harson steps up to the plate on this one, or does he only move when prodded? This is a travisty of justice taking place in Youngsville where something like an Asst.
