Why can't americans get along with each other? we have been a nation divided for so long and the issues that truly matter take the backburner to naysaying, slander and gosh damned hollywood politicians who fear perdition but lead usa straight into it! When my generation takes office, I just PRAY that we can get over our own personal ideologies and look for the right answers for our country together because unity and peaceful debate will further advance our country much better hate and fear and lies . I apologize for my innate ability to make valid, lucid points seem corny! Stop the hate, everyone! (except docy, you are funny as heck and I enjoyed seeing your retaliations, seek a political satire career, youll make it big! - Dk

I guess good people like Dr. Roberts, who have the courage to stand up for what's right, make some folks angry along the way. Maybe those others should spend more time becoming better Christians -- or at least, getting out of the way so principled people like Dr. Roberts can succeed in fighting the good fight for our children, our families, and our country. The comments above reveal so much about the smallness of spirit that some people possess. - Lafayette Conservative

Kevin Roberts is as phony as they come. He fools people every day. Nothing against Brett Baier. I like him--but Kevin Roberts is as slick and conniving as they come. Don't be fooled by his nice-guy, quasi-cultured, intelligent exterior. He is a snake. Be careful. Conservatives, don't be a fools. - Julie

And those kids get a good education.

Yeah Mary Jane but now what are they going to teach them what, Obama is a nazi, or he's a communist dictator, or he's a muslim, or that he's not really the president, or that slavery never happen, or that we should idolize slave holders, or that slaves didn't really want to be free.

This is the kind of chit that Bret Baer, Sister Sarah (imbecil)Palin, Drug Addict Limbaugh and Beck, Hannity and the rest of the fox fake news models propagate every day on tv.

I guess that is what you call a good education.

I can't believe the foul-mouthed people who add comments here. If you don't like something, just don't watch/read it. I'll bet Catholic schools have taught many poor, underprivileged children than you would think. And those kids get a good education. - Mary Ann

GA, You'll sound like a group of medicated panelists who skipped your last three doses, some of you feign left when down deep you lean right and some of you feign right and then you lean left, then again there are some of you who actually think some other panelists, the ones who also skipped yesterday's doses of meds are listening when all they are hearing is Fox news reruns in their heads. - Dr.Northsidian Shotgun

Docy is just a parrot from "the other side" of the manufactured partisan divide. He's the Rush Limbaugh dittohead of the left, relying on insults and condescension, hatred and division.

None of the cable or network media outlets do justice to real news or journalistic standards. And this idea that all the others besides Fox are "liberal" is a joke; the idea that Fox is truly conservative is a joke. They all deal in talking points of the day and infotainment fluff at the expense of true investigative journalism into issues of real importance. But that's their modus operandi as corporate media attached to the government mouthpiece. Their mission is to prop up the Democrat/Republican establishment and stoke the partisan divide. - Resident

Docy, now..now.. with insults? I'm asking you legit questions.. Does MSNBC have honest anchors? How about George Stepblahblah? Everything you listed is factually and intellectually dishonest... either that or you don't know the difference between opinion shows and news shows... Do you think that Maddow or Oblermann is a news show? Do you think O'Reilly or Hannity is a news show? I mean, surely as you continue to spew hate and insults that you don't really know the difference or just an extreme hipocrite. You've taken what someone has said about Fox added some statments of opinion shows sprinkled in some lefty stereotyping and mash that into either lies or ignorance. You might want to revisit your facts. - MoonBat Magic

a real honest non paritsan news anchor

Dingbat, an honest anchor delivers the news, not make it up. Now, I was fair in listing some of the stuff that fox fake news just plainly make up. Read the list of things and tell me if they did not say these things. And, they say it night after night after night.

Fact check them and see for yourself.

To have a man like Bret Baer, a man of such low morals speak to a childrens school deals a magnificent blow to the youth. - Docy B

Docy- That is a great that you do that. I do the same thing but we come up with different opinions. And I skip all the name calling and hate. Is MSNBC a real news station? Is ABC's George Step(blahblah don't feel like googling the spelling) a real honest non paritsan news anchor? Have you always hated FoxNews or just since Obama's election? Do you think that the right should have a voice in a liberal dominated field? I'm just curious to your anger... Also, is this a liberal site... I just following a link here from the deadpelican.com. If it is a lib site my apologies I will leave and not interrupt the bashing again. - MoonBat Magic

Wow, it's hard to believe how many ignorant posts are on this page. This article is about a private school trying to raise funds to further education. I think minimally everyone can agree with that cause. If you don't agree with the speaker, then refrain from attending the gala and donating. If you don't believe in the type of education the school advocates, then don't send your children to that school. It is as simple as that. You sound uneducated if your idea of proper political discourse is to engage in name calling and blatantly skewing facts. You can watch MSNBC and listen to your "correct" news while others watch Fox News. Just please try to atleast pretend to have class when posting your opinions. - Annoyed by ignorance

Was this posted on MediaMatters or DailyKos?

I don't watch either of those programs. I get my information from all the major networks including fox, except I fact check them daily.

That is how I know that fox is a fake new station. - Docy B

Was this posted on MediaMatters or DailyKos? The hate spewing from the lefties is strong. The hilarity of the FoxNews haters is golden. I can't figure if it's the double standards or just straight hypocrisy that is my favorite... FoxNews is the only right leaning news network on the air yet it drives them batty... Can't the right just have one network... it's 7 lying, fear mongering propaganda lefty networks to 1... I think that's solid odds even for someone trying to suppress opposition thinking... I thought you guys were the tolerant ones? - MoonBat Magic

The public option is not really an option. I really don't see anything the feds do well.

That is the fallacy that is repeated time again by Fox fake news, limbaugh, etal.

The post office is failing because it is a government corporation. Score one for capitalism.

Medicare and Medicare and the VA Healthcare system is doing great.

Keep in mind that someone once said that Capatilism is for the poor and socialism is for the rich.

The insane thing that we keep doing over and over is we keep giving oil companies 45 billion in welfare, we keep giving the richest people trillions of dollars from the taxpayer, we keep the tax loopholes for these rich people to send jobs overseas, and we keep ignoring our crumbling infrastructure.

That's insanity. - Docy B

The public option is not really an option. I really don't see anything the feds do well. I'm not talking about party, but as a whole. The poastal service loses billions, Amtrak loses billions, public education is a joke. We continue to spend billions on things that don't work. The definition of insainity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. It has been like this for many years. So, It will be even worse with a public option. The only difference is instead of mishandleing mail and trains it will be peoples lives. - Big John

Healthcare is the same issue. It needs to be fixed, but this is the wrong way to do it

The public option is all that is needed to fix this bill. The employee mandate (a republican idea)is a fools errand.

This society will benefit tremendously by this legislation. Americans rich and poor, black and white-and brown-legal brown- will finally have the opportunity to go about their daily lives without Arizona republican governor jan brewer's death panel hanging over them. - LAFAYETTE NATIVE RESIDING IN CA

Healthcare is the same issue. It needs to be fixed, but this is the wrong way to do it. This state pays a fee to hospitals for a medicaid patient. This fee does not usually even cover the expenses per day. This means the hospitals loose lots of money. Sorry, but it takes money to pay DR, RN's, LPN, Techs, Food service, Cleaning and on and on. If you can't pay them they lose their jobs and patient care suffers. This law mandates adding thousands of people to medicaid in LA alone. This will cost the state billions we don't have. I can't see how this is good. Some parts are good like pre-conditions.The majority of it will ruin the healthcare industry. It will ruin the goal of better patient care simply because the hospitals won't be able to pay for competent staff. I've been a nurse for 15 years and this is the worst thing I could imagine. - Big John
